Born in 1958 in Singapore, with ancestral roots in Nanhai, Guangdong, he is a calligrapher and painter. He furthered his studies at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and also taught at the same institution. He studied ink painting under Master Lai Ruilong and calligraphy as well as ink painting under Master Xu Mengfeng. In 1998, he was included in the "Dictionary of Famous Figures in Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from Ancient to Modern Times" published by Tianjin Ancient Books Publishing House. Over the years, he has been invited to participate in various publications. He engages in teaching and creating calligraphy and painting, and in his spare time, he delights in the joy of poetry. 祖籍廣東南海,1958年生于新加坡,書畫家。曾在南洋美專進修也曾在南洋藝術學院任教。師從賴 瑞龍老師習水墨畫及許夢豐老師習書法與水墨畫。1998年被編入天津古籍出版社出版的《中國古 今書畫名人大辭典》。多年來也被受邀參加各種出版。從事書畫篆刻教學與創作,閑時陶醉于賦詩之樂。 墨瀾社顧問(墨瀾社前社長),南洋美專校友會副會長,新加坡藝術協會會員，南藝聯誼會會員，獅 城書法篆刻會會員，獅城書法篆刻會名譽理事，中華美術研究會會員，華翰研究會會員，藝林美 術會會員，新加坡書法家協會會員，新加坡書法家協會名譽理事，新加坡藝術總會會員，新加坡 美術總會會員，世界文化藝術聯合總會名譽顧問，新加坡國際文化藝術聯合會會員及書法評委等 。作品曾多次參加國內外書法展及國際書法展，幷獲得國內外人士收藏。
